Everyone says that all newborns do is eat, sleep and poop. While that is mostly true, Timmy finds time for a few other activities as well. Here is how he keeps busy on an average day:
1:30AM - Eat
2:00AM - Sleep
4:30AM - Eat
5:00AM - Wide awake, play on the Baby Einstein Mat until he tires himself out
6:00AM - Fall asleep
7:30AM - Eat
8:00AM - Sleep
10:30AM - Eat
11:00AM - Walk with Grandma
1:30PM - Eat
2:00PM - Tummy Time! (one of his favorites)
3:00PM - pass out in the swing... and snore
5:00PM - Eat
6:00PM - Bath Time (his very favorite)
6:30PM - Read a book with Mom and Dad
7:00PM - Sleep
9:00PM - Eat
9:30PM - Sleep
Rest and save up his energy so he can start all over again tomorrow!

Don't let this fool you into thinking Timmy has an actual schedule with all of this happening at the same time every day... far from it! He's barely starting to figure out which is day and which is night. And sometimes he'll eat every hour and a half while other times he'll go 5 and a half hours, you just never know. And he loves to keep you guessing ;)
My schedule is much less consistent. I have school on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays; on those days, I leave at 8AM and come home around 1PM. Tuesdays and Thursdays I just hang out with Timmy at home. Some days I can nap or get stuff done during the day, and some days I can't do anything. Yesterday we managed to squeeze in a trip to the mall with my friend Lexie!
Pete has been working a lot lately, so Tim and I spend some Saturdays alone together too. Sundays are the best because all three of us get to spend it together. Last Sunday we went to Costco and Babies R Us, went for a walk (it's been beautiful weather) and took a nap with Tim and the cats.
Timmy has been changing so much every day that I'm sure his little schedule will be completely different in a few weeks. He'll be five weeks tomorrow, and he's already so much more alert and responsive than he was two weeks ago, which makes play time even better. He has started to notice (and LOVE) the mobile in his crib and the dangly toys on his bouncer seat. He also noticed the little alligator bath toy that I used to spray some water on him and he wasn't completely horrified. Wait until he really notices the two furry black toys he has in the apartment!
